Privacy Policy

Face & photo data

Dance AI is an AI photo-animation app. To create a video, the photo you choose — which may include a person's face — is uploaded to our servers and sent to our third-party AI animation providers (Viggle and fal.ai). There, AI analyzes the person in the photo only to animate them into the dance you selected. We ask for your explicit consent inside the app before your first photo is ever uploaded.

  • We do not use face data for identification, facial recognition, biometric matching, or to build a profile of anyone.
  • We do not use your photos or the faces in them to train AI models.
  • Uploaded photos are stored only as long as needed to generate the video and are deleted on a rolling retention schedule. Faces are not retained as a separate biometric template.
  • Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows another person, you confirm you have their permission.

What we process

  • Photos you upload — sent to our AI generation providers (Viggle, fal.ai) solely to create your video, stored short-term in our storage and deleted on a rolling retention schedule. Photos are screened automatically for prohibited content before generation.
  • Generated videos — stored so "My Videos" keeps working; free-tier videos carry a watermark and AI label.
  • Account — an anonymous ID (Firebase) with your coin balance and subscription state. No name or email is required.
  • Usage analytics — product events (e.g. video created, paywall viewed) to improve the app; optionally mirrored to Google Analytics / Meta when enabled.
  • Purchases — processed by the store / RevenueCat; we never see your payment details.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your photos or videos.
  • We don't use your photos to train AI models.
  • We don't show your content to other users.

Your rights

You can request deletion of all your data (photos, videos, account) at any time: emilarnoldmedia@gmail.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. EU/EEA users also have the rights of access, rectification and portability under the GDPR. For any other questions, see our Support page.

Children

Dance AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.
